India was employed by Foster Wilson Size for five years between 2011-2016, where she completed her professional Part III qualifications. As theatre specialists, her experience focused around performance spaces, and she contributed to a number of theatre schemes, both large and small during her time there, most notably the renovation and restoration of the Grade II* listed Hammersmith Apollo and the recently opened Brixton House theatre.
